To enjoy the local, seasonal, and organic ingredients SPUD.ca is known for, it’s meal kit service in partnership with Be Fresh Local Market, was established.
With an emphasis on easy and delicious dinner solutions, we created a handwritten wordmark balanced with clean typography. In using it’s resemblance of a plate, we united and connected consumers through digital, print, and social platforms in a variety of organic and circular shapes. The ascent colours for the recipe cards were pulled from the chef-inspired dishes, while the photography took precedence as the visual focus. With recipes concentrated on minimizing the food waste common with other meal kit services, the campaign cut through the noise of competitors in the market and served to a wider audience.
